Welcome to Evolution Road Runners

Evolution Road Runners (EvRR) is proud to officially carry the name that reflects who we are today while honoring the strong foundation that built our club.

Founded in 1984 as the Wampanoag Road Runners, our club has grown into a vibrant and supportive running community with members of all abilities, paces, and distance goals. For over four decades, runners have come together through group runs, races, volunteerism, and shared experiences that extend well beyond the miles.

While our name has evolved, the heart of our club remains unchanged. We cherish the rich history of the Wampanoag Road Runners and are proud to carry forward many of its valued traditions, including a strong sense of community, inclusivity, service, and a love of running.

Evolution Road Runners continues as a RRCA and USATF certified running club and a 501(c)4 charitable organization. We remain committed to supporting our members, giving back through community outreach and volunteering, and promoting health, fitness, and connection.
