The Evolution Road Runners, a certified RRCA/USATF club (02-0181), were founded by a passionate group of runners at DB Sports in North Attleboro, MA. Originally known as the Wampanoag Road Runners, the club has grown and evolved over the years to include a diverse membership, with runners and walkers of all abilities and goals coming together each weekend. Whether beginners or seasoned athletes, members unite to enjoy the miles.
Today, the Evolution Road Runners continue to thrive through their deep commitment to the running community and the strong
relationships fostered among members. Our dedication extends beyond the run, as we actively support local organizations. Over the years, we’ve contributed over $250,000 to causes addressing hunger, homelessness, youth athletic programs at local YMCAs, high school scholarships, and health-related research and awareness. These efforts are primarily funded through the proceeds of our signature event, the Old Fashioned Ten Miler (OFTM), first held in 1995. The race, which celebrated its 25th edition in 2020, attracts nearly 1,200 finishers in both the 10-mile and 5K events.
At the heart of Evolution Road Runners is a shared commitment to helping each individual achieve their personal running goals. Whether training for a 5K, tackling a marathon, or any distance in between, we support each other every step of the way, celebrating every milestone that promotes health, wellness, and joy.
Most importantly, Evolution Road Runners is a true community, where members support one another through both the triumphs and challenges on and off the road. Our spirit of camaraderie and mutual commitment is the foundation of everything we do.
